I Am A Mormon!!

No I will not shove my beliefs down your throat.
Yes I love each and every one of you! Just as God does!
No I am not perfect!
Yes in God one day I can become perfect.
No I do not drink, smoke, drink coffee, or shop on Sunday.
Yes I do sin differently then you.
No I do not judge, I love!
Yes life is hard we all make mistakes!
Yes I try my best to follow all of Gods commandments.
and Yes I sometimes fail.
No I do not give up,
I will endure to the end!
and Yes I would love if every one was able to find this happiness that I have found in the mormon church.
For I want you to be happy.

I have had a lot on my mind.. and I had my mind made up I would not say anything for I didn't want to say the wrong thing and offend any one.
I just need to get it out and off my chest though.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been in the news a lot lately for its views on same sex marriage and the women in the priesthood.
No matter any ones choices I do not love any one less!
However, my choices might not be the same choices.
What I believe is right may not be the same.
I am not positive how it will all work out in Heaven, I do have faith that God loves us all and wants the best for us!
The Church I belong to is ran by Jesus Christ and God himself. They give us commandments to follow because that is what is best for us to be able to be happiest and able to get through our trials.
Not to limit us and make anything harder.
I will follow the Prophet of the church and I will follow God.
I have faith in love and peace.
I feel the most love and peace on Sundays taking the sacrament, on a Saturday at the temple, serving Gods children, and in the lords work.
That is what makes me feel safe, comforted, loved, and serenity.
I know that I feel the Holy Spirit in my heart and soul.
Tears of joy are poof of that.
Hymns sooth me and sing out my testimony.
For I love the Savior with all my heart and want to become Christ like!

Yes I am a Mormon, a Latter Day Saint of the Church of Jesus Christ.
and Yes I believe it with all my heart!

I hate when the church is attacked and when the members lash back out. Breaks my heart. For we just really need love in the world and lots of it.

(I know this probably was my random thought of testimony but I needed it off my chest)

I love you!!

To Celebrate our One Year we went on a Cruise from Miami, Florida to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico!
It was Brents first Cruise and we enjoyed ourselves a lot!
We got to see the Southern most point of the US in Key West! What a super cool place we will for sure be going back there!
In Cozumel we got to see Mayan ruins that was super neat to hear the stories of them! We saw the poverty there and experienced how Mexico is.
On the ship we of course had to eat a lot of food and try new things! We danced a lot! We love dancing! We met new friends! We went to the activities and shows!
We Laughed and had a really good time!
Back in Miami we got to stay a couple more nights so first off we went to the Everglades and saw lots of gators that was so neat! We took a speed boat tour as the gators swam next to us! Best of all there was turtles too! Brent got to hold a baby alligator! This was the day of our anniversary.
When we got back we went to rent a car and we got a cute black VW bug! That was fun to drive around and Brent let me drive in the Miami traffic and the heat was playing... it was crazy!
We went and spent most of the time in South Beach. The ocean was sooo warm!
I love to fly and travel and see all that I can in the short time I am at a place too much fun!

For the first anniversary you are suppose to give paper as the gift. So Brent got me a book by my favorite author The Four Doors by Richard Paul Evans and I gave him Following Christ the 2nd book in one that he had been reading and enjoying.

We brought a piece of our wedding cake with us on the plane to eat a little on our anniversary so we ate it and it was good! Banana mmmm!

This Trip was only our first for many anniversary trips to come!!

For the next year to come our goals are:
Brent and I to work our way more into our Degrees and finish two more semesters. To meet Brents brother when he comes home from his mission. Many temple trips. And most importantly enjoy each others love for that always is growing and I couldn't l've some one more! He is my best friend and marrying him was the best things I have ever done!

9/22/12 First Date Hike together
10/23/12 They knew it was everlasting Love
12/25/12 He asked The question
5/30/13 They finally got married for all time and eternity!

I feel accomplished!

I am just going to toot my horn and say I have done it! I have passed math 1010 at Weber State!
It was not an easy accomplishment. Since from the time I could remember I have struggled in math. It has not come easy for me. I have had to work hard at it and get a lot of help. This was my 6th semester at Weber. The 5 before were spent in underdevelopment math. I was just so tired and stressed. I wanted to be able to passed it the first semester I took 1010. I got a lot of help from Brent and worked the hardest I could. I had Brent push me and help me anyway that he could.
It's a big relief and it's still settling in that I did it!

Love Makes a House a Home

We have moved to VanBuren!
We are so excited about this move! We are in a basement of the house of my visiting teacher, with her husband and two little boys. They are so good to us. It is a great situation. We are so blessed to be here! It is everything we need at this point in our lives! I took pride and joy into decorating it as we unpacked.

This month of April after the move we enjoyed General Conference weekend. Made lots of yummy food! A Brazilian meal and treats for the weekend! We have been enjoying the sunshine and spring flowers, and rain storms. April showers bring May flowers!
This week and next we are stressed to the max for finals week! I am trying and praying so hard to pass my last two math classes! When it happens I will have to post about my accomplishment because it will be! It has been a struggle and I have worked hard to be where I am!

I love Easter Sunday for I love my Savior and his atoning sacrifice that I may be cleansed and one day rise up as he did. The love I have for my Redeemer is overwhelming!
So thankful to be apart of His church here on Earth. To have Temples to do work of those wanting to come unto Him. So thankful for my covenants and that I may just endure to be with Him and my Heavenly Father once again. Along side my forever loving family. So thankful for the Holy Spirit to guide me and to fill my heart each day of happiness. So thankful to be able to kneel in prayer and offer up my whole heart to Him.
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know who I am. I know Gods plan.

I love filling our home with our testimony. I cannot wait to bring His children into our family to teach and love with the pure love of Him.

I am also glad that March is over... What hard memories. There is not a day that I do not think about my three Angels and the love that I have for them. I think about all that they have taught me a lot. They have helped me grow into the women I am and I love that! I love that I still see them in my life. The tears come and go depending on the mood. I only know that I miss them so much because I love them so much. The overwhelming that I have for the Savior I have for my family, the pure love of Christ.

I've been feeling ill but I am blessed!

It is Monday night (late) and I have been ill since last Thursday with a kidney infection.
I have never felt so sick. Been so weak and throwing up.
I went back to the doctors Sunday after I missed church :,( worst part! and I had to get an antibiotic shot in my side.
It's been a while actually since I have had a shot and I was proud of my self :) I don't do doctor or any needle stuff and I did it and Brent didn't even hold my hand! lol
Spending every day in bed for the past five days have not been fun at all.
I am so glad for my Faith though.
I think I got four blessings from Brent. I got my name put into the temple and many people praying for me.
I absolutely love the gospel of Jesus Christ and the huge part it is in my life.
To know that Brent and I will be together forever makes us even look forward to the next life. Hard for me to say that though it's a very hard thing to lose someone.
And it is March... been thinking of my lost loved ones so much. Specially while being sick.

Other notes I love hearing from my best friend on her mission wish I could just call her and jab about the amazing experience she is having!

We went to Vegas last weekend and met my family at NASCAR for one day and the next headed to Pahrump to be with my great grandparents Nanny and Papa. I love them sooo much and was so sad to only spend a day with them too. It was a fast trip, but glad we went!
At NASCAR we camped with every one there and went to the Saturday race. It was a neat experience. Wasn't our thing but really cool.
In Pahrump we got to go to church with them and relax on their farm. They gave Brent the tour of the farm and shop. Then we made a very delicious dinner! Ate in the dinning room and afterword Nanny drove around showing Brent Pahrump also. I absolutely love spending time like that with grandparents!
Oh I miss that oh so much with my grandma (her daughter)

We are moving in a week!!!!!

Our First Winter

The winter semester passed by us quickly and I can't believe we are see spring again!

Both of our birthdays are in the winter. Brent turned 23 and I 21!! For Brent's birthday I surprised him with Trans Siberian Orchestra tickets and took him to Rodizio Grill for some loved  Brazilian food! When we went to the concert we were awed struck by the amazing 3 hour performance by them!! For mine we adventured out during a blizzard. (their is a snow storm every year on my birthday lol) Spent the evening on 25th street at color me mine. We were able to paint some lovely pottery, and enjoyed super yummy food at Roosters.

I love Thanksgiving specially when Nanny and Papa are able to come up and visit us! We had 3 thanksgiving dinners and went to both families in one day!

Since summer I have been working at Little Bumkins Day care. I love it I am so spoiled! Brent also got a new job this fall working on CNC machines he loves what he does. It has just been a hard schedule and a long drive.

Our First Christmas

This was the Sunday before Christmas when we had our choir program and decorated cookies. We spent Christmas eve volunteering at the bishop store house with Brent's family then went over for snow fun and a Christmas movie. Then to my parents for a dinner. It was a lot of fun until that night I got very ill and was throwing up every hour all Christmas eve. The next day on Christmas I had planned it all out in my head we would get up early and I would make us breakfast and maybe make it to my parents before they were done... I did have a stomach to eat let a lone make anything. I slept in and slowly we did our gifts. Slowly made it to my parents for a short while before heading to both of Brent's grandparents and in between hearing my Brent's brother through skype on his mission in Guatemala. I wasn't able to enjoy any of the Christmas food and we went home early to get some rest... I was disappointed. I was loved though and I love my family and Brent's and so grateful for what we received.

That next weekend we headed out to Lava Hot springs for a mini vaca! I needed it after my ill Christmas. However, I still wasn't feeling that great so it felt good to be in the hot springs and relax. I love being on the go and always some where doing something. I have done a lot already in life and I love showing the things to Brent and helping him get caught up with me haha

New years we spent with friends playing games!

We have made some wonderful friends in our ward we love it! The winter Olympics were held in Sochi, Russia 2014. We were able to go see some trails in park city! We will be cheering on my moms cousin Amy Purdy in the parolympic snowboarding.

This seems like yesterday where has the time gone?! The days turn to weeks and months fast when we look back.

Valentines we reserved for the next day where we spent it in Salt Lake ice skating and window shopping and eating lots of yummy foods!

I am also so spoiled at work for Holidays we have a lot of fun!

It has been on of the hardest semesters yet. I am finally able to take 1010 math and it is a struggle. Brent works swings 3-midnight so I don't see him until the weekend and it is way hard! We don't get a lot of sleep and we try hard to keep up on our home work, but its all wearing us down and I can't wait for it to end!

We were able to hear from Elder Russell M Nelson at a Syracuse fireside with grandma and grandpa Cowley. I love being inspired by those men of God!

One of the greatest things is that we are moving!! Into an apartment basement just around the block. My visiting teacher owns the house and is going to be renting to us starting April! I am so excited to have a wonderful place to call home and a better living situation!! Everything is looking up!
And we are headed to Vegas Friday for spring break! I will post later about it all!
